Purchase Terms and Conditions

In Person Areola Tattoo Course

Effective Date: 10/01/2026.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants enrolling in the in-person 3D Areola Tattoo Training offered by Restorative Permanent Makeup LLC, doing business as Restorative Permanent Makeup and RPM Institute (“RPM Institute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for, purchasing, or participating in this training, you (“Participant,” “Student,” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1. Online Course Prerequisite

Completion of the RPM Institute Online 3D Areola Tattoo Training Course is mandatory before attending the in-person training. Participants must complete all required online course materials before their scheduled in-person training date.

The online course provides foundational education necessary to participate in the hands-on training. Enrollment in the in-person course does not waive this requirement. RPM Institute reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who has not completed the prerequisite. Any resulting rescheduling or refund will be handled in accordance with the cancellation and refund policies below.

2. Training Scope and No Guarantee of Results

The in-person training is educational in nature and is intended to supplement the participant’s existing professional knowledge and skills. Participation does not constitute a professional license, government certification, medical qualification, or authorization to perform procedures where otherwise prohibited.

RPM Institute does not guarantee mastery of any technique, certification, employment, business success, client outcomes, or eligibility to perform 3D areola tattooing in any particular jurisdiction. Results depend on individual skill, experience, judgment, practice, and other factors.

Instruction and demonstrations reflect educational experience and are not a substitute for applicable laws, professional standards, medical advice, or independent professional judgment.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that permanent makeup and medical tattooing involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Exposure to needles, sharps, blood, bodily fluids, pigments, disinfectants, and other materials.

Accidental needle sticks, punctures, cuts, abrasions, or other physical injuries.

Allergic reactions, skin irritation, infection, inflammation, scarring, pigment-related complications, or unexpected healing responses.

Exposure to infectious diseases or bloodborne pathogens.

Injuries resulting from equipment handling, improper technique, accidental contact, or failure to follow safety procedures.

I understand that risks may exist even when appropriate precautions are taken. I voluntarily accept the inherent risks associated with my participation, including hands-on practice and any demonstrations or procedures involving models, where applicable.

I agree to follow all safety instructions, sanitation and infection-control protocols, equipment instructions, and reasonable directions provided by RPM Institute and its instructors.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I voluntarily release and hold harmless Restorative Permanent Makeup LLC, RPM Institute, its owners, instructors, employees, and authorized representatives from claims arising from the inherent risks of my voluntary participation in the training, including claims for personal injury or property damage, except to the extent caused by negligence, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, violation of law, or other conduct for which liability cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any right or claim that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

5. Health, Safety, and Personal Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating safely in the training. I agree to notify the instructor of any condition, limitation, allergy, or other concern that may affect my safe participation.

I agree to:

Follow all hygiene, sanitation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and sharps-disposal procedures.

Use equipment and supplies only as instructed and for their intended purpose.

Avoid participating while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any substance that could compromise safety.

Immediately report injuries, needle sticks, exposure incidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions.

Stop any activity when instructed to do so for safety reasons.

RPM Institute may suspend or terminate a participant’s involvement if their conduct creates a safety risk or materially interferes with training. Any refund or rescheduling will be subject to the applicable policies and circumstances.

6. Hands-On Practice and Models

Hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and model participation may involve specialized tattooing equipment and procedures. Participation in any procedure is voluntary and subject to the instructor’s safety requirements.

If live models are included, I agree to respect their privacy, dignity, informed consent, and confidentiality. I will not perform any procedure outside the scope of the training, without appropriate supervision where required, or without the necessary consent and safety protocols.

I understand that participation in training does not authorize me to perform procedures on members of the public without meeting all applicable licensing, registration, facility, health, consent, and other legal requirements.

RPM Institute does not guarantee that any particular model, procedure, or specific hands-on opportunity will be available at the time of your training course.

7. Participant Conduct and Removal

Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward instructors, other students, staff, and any models.

Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, continuous disruption, unauthorized photography, unsafe conduct, deliberate misuse of equipment, or failure to follow essential safety instructions may result in removal from the training.

Refunds are not available when removal results from a participant’s misconduct or safety violations.

8. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

All course materials, presentations, demonstrations, instructional videos, handouts, techniques presented in proprietary course materials, written resources, and other educational content supplied by RPM Institute are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Participants may use these materials solely for their own personal educational purposes. Without prior written permission from RPM Institute, participants may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publish, or share course materials with others.

Record, photograph, screen-capture, or otherwise reproduce instructional content or demonstrations where prohibited by the instructor.

Upload or distribute materials through online platforms, social media, file-sharing services, or other channels.

Teach, repackage, modify, or create a competing educational product using RPM Institute’s proprietary materials.

Share login credentials or provide access to the prerequisite online course to another person.

These restrictions do not prevent participants from using their independently developed skills and general professional knowledge, or from engaging in activities protected by applicable law. Unauthorized use of protected materials may result in legal action.

9. Photography, Video, and Media Release

By participating in this training, I grant Restorative Permanent Makeup LLC, doing business as RPM Institute, permission to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, voice, and participation in photographs and video recordings for educational, promotional, marketing, social media, website, and other business-related purposes without additional compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

I understand that other participants may photograph or record portions of the training and may share content on their own social media accounts or other platforms. I acknowledge that I may appear in such content and consent to being photographed or recorded in this setting.

All participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of course models. No participant may photograph, record, post, or otherwise share identifiable images or videos of models without obtaining the model’s appropriate informed consent and any additional permissions required by law. Consent to participate in a procedure does not automatically constitute consent to photography, recording, or public sharing.

Participants must also respect any restrictions communicated by RPM Institute regarding recording, confidential information, or the use of course materials. Nothing in this section authorizes the unauthorized disclosure of confidential or protected information.

10. Professional Licensing, Insurance, and Independent Practice

Participants are solely responsible for determining and complying with the laws and regulations applicable to their location and intended practice, including any required licenses, registrations, permits, facility approvals, health requirements, and professional liability insurance.

RPM Institute does not represent that completing this training satisfies any  jurisdiction’s licensing, certification, or continuing education requirements.

Participants are responsible for their own professional decisions, equipment, sanitation practices, client screening, informed consent, documentation, aftercare instructions, and procedures performed outside the training.

11. Payments, Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

All payments for the in-person 3D Areola Tattoo Training are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled training for any reason, you will not be eligible for a refund. Instead, you will be transferred to the next available scheduled class.

If you need to transfer your registration to a future class, you must notify RPM Institute in writing at least seven (7) days before the start of your scheduled training. Advance notice is required to allow us to plan accordingly.

If RPM Institute must cancel a training, participants will be offered the option to transfer to a future class or receive a refund, as applicable under California law.

RPM Institute is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost wages, or other incidental expenses unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

12. Changes to Training

RPM Institute may make reasonable changes to the schedule, instructor arrangements, curriculum, supplies, or training format when necessary for safety, operational needs, or circumstances beyond its control. Material changes or cancellations will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the disclosed policy.

13. No Medical Advice or Provider-Patient Relationship

The training is educational and does not establish a physician-patient, healthcare provider-patient, or other clinical relationship between a participant and RPM Institute. Information presented during the course is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

14. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent legally permissible.
